You're invited to eat, drink and play party games at the student gift party!
We will be revealing the 2017 student gift selection, continuing to raise funds, and celebrating our success thus far. So please stop by and enjoy “Pin the Tie on Dean Krent,” Giant Jenga, and more. Entry to the party is free, but we encourage a $5 donation at the door to help us reach our donation challenge and unlock a gift from an alumni donor.

April 6: "IP Law & 3D Printing" event
This event is directed to the relationship between 3D printing and IP law; specifically, this panel will discuss protecting 3D prints using patent, trademark and copyright law, as well as discuss infringement risks for designers and consumers.
Registration will be from 5:30 to 6 p.m., the event will take place from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in the auditorium, and there will be a reception afterwards until 9:30 p.m.
The event will feature the following speakers: Martin Thaler, IIT Institute of Design; Marcus Thymian, McDonnell Boehnen Hulbert & Berghoff LLP; and Kara Cenar, Greensfelder, Hemker & Gale PC.
April 4: Class-picking panel
Upperclass students will give their opinions on classes/professors they have taken. This discussion will not be limited to just IP classes!

This year IPLS will be honoring David Marr '87, IP practice group leader at Clark Hill. Next year’s executive board for IPLS will also be announced at this event.
