Chicago-Kent Law Review

October 17: The Supreme Court and American Politics Symposium

The Institute on the Supreme Court of the United States (ISCOTUS) and the Chicago-Kent Law Review invite you to attend the 2017 Chicago-Kent Live Symposium on "The Supreme Court and American Politics." In this symposium, Professors Carolyn Shapiro and Christopher W. Schmidt of the Chicago-Kent College of Law will host several constitutional law scholars from across the country to examine the intersection of the Supreme Court and presidential, congressional, and electoral politics.

This symposium is free to attend. Lunch is provided for attendees with advance registration. Recordings of the panels will also be hosted after the event for those unable to attend.

Environmental Law Society

September 29: Voluteer with the Nature Conservancy

We will be partnering with the Nature Conservancy to plant native woodland plants in honor of National Public Lands Day. Hours will go toward the Chicago-Kent Certificate of Service. We will be meeting at the North Shore Bike Channel Trail and West Argyle St. Hope to see you there!

October 11: Speaker panel: "Immigration In the Era of Trump 2.0: DACA"

Why did the Trump administration end DACA and what comes next? A panel of immigration lawyers and policy experts will discuss the DACA phase-out and the current goings-on surrounding immigration reform. The panel will be followed by a Q&A.  Brought to you by ILS, HLLSA, the SBA Diversity Committee, the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, ACLU, ACS and LELS.
