February 14: Bake Sale

Need a Valentine's Day Sugar-Pick-Me-Up? Whether you need a treat to celebrate with a significant other or some comfort food to drown out all sense of loneliness, stop by the Christian Legal Society Bake Sale. All proceeds will go to Exodus World Service, which mobilizes the Chicago community to welcome refugees. This is done by educating about refugee ministry, connecting volunteers with newly arriving refugees through practical service projects, and equipping leaders to advocate on behalf of refugees. February 22: The IALSA will be hosting a Judges Night

The IALSA will be hosting a Judges Night Thursday, February 22, at 5 p.m. in Morris Hall. There will be a reception with food, beer and wine. The program will include a panel discussion and questions from the audience. The judges who have confirmed they are coming are the Honorable John Callahan, the Honorable Christopher Lawler, the Honorable Peggy Chiampas, the Honorable Jim O'Hara, the Honorable Karen O'Malley, the Honorable Shauna Boliker, the Honorable Mary Margret Brosnahan, the Honorable Thomas Byrne, and more. All are sitting Circuit Court judges in Cook County. A number have expressed a willingness to potentially take on clerks from Chicago-Kent.
