Our introductory meetings will be held Tuesday, October 30 at 12 p.m. in room C-35 and Thursday, November 1 at 5 p.m in room C-25. Please attend! We will be watching a short video introducing the society, and it's goals. It features Judge Abner Mikva, Harvard Professor Laurence Tribe, and former Attorney General Janet Reno, among others. We will also be signing up members, discussing our future plans, looking for volunteers, and introducing our on-line law and policy journal, Fiat Justitia.

October 22, 2001

Two introductory meetings to our society will be held the week of October 29, 2001. We will give a general introduction and watch a video that summarizes the goals and purpose of our society. Please stay tuned to The Record for the time and place.

October 5, 2001

The Chicago-Kent Chapter of ACS has founded an on-line journal for law and policy called Fiat Justitia. The journal is meant to further the society's goal of intellectual exchange. Christopher Montgomery, 3L, is the editor-in-chief. Read the call for papers.
