Academic Freedom, the First Amendment, and Garcetti v. Ceballos

We are delighted to have Professor Nahmod continue his luncheon discussions sponsored by the ACS. This semester, he will focus on the Supreme Court's 2006 decision in Garcetti v. Ceballos, its interaction with the First Amendment and its effect on academic freedom. Lunch will be served. RSVP required by March 7th to acs@kentlaw.edu

Tom Sullivan: Guantanamo Litigation

The ACS is delighted to welcome Tom Sullivan, a partner at Jenner & Block.  Mr. Sullivan will be discussing his vast experience and involvement in litigation on the issues surrounding Guantanamo. We will give you more details on this event as the date comes closer.
