Student Organization Fair

Tuesday, September 6 11AM-1PM and 4PM-6PM Second and Third Floors

In a nutshell: The second and third floors will be bustling with table booths manned by each student organization's representatives on Tuesday, September 6 from 11am to 1pm and from 4pm to 6pm. This will be your chance to become acquainted with each organization and sign onto the mailing lists of those that particularly interest you. The American Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association will be present there as well. As for APALSA--we'll be there. We don't know what booth/table we'll be assigned to, but we'll be there with our awesome pamphlets and even more awesome candy.

ACADEMIC & LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Clerkship Openings with Judge Edmond Chang

Judge Edmond Chang of the Northern District of Illinois is now accepting clerkship applications for September 2012 and January 2013 from attorneys who have graduated from law school and current third-year students (no second-year student applicants at this time). Judge Chang hires 3 law clerks for 1-year terms. Two clerks start in September of each year, and the other starts in January. Because Judge Chang does not have an administrative assistant, law clerks will be expected to share in handling some administrative responsibilities.

Applications should be submitted through the OSCAR online system.
