Bible Study

Tuesday, September 29 at 12:00 in Room 581
The title of the book we are using is "The Advocate: A Biblical Approach to Legal Ethics," written by Mary S. Lauchli, an associate professor of law at Pepperdine University School of Law. This study is an introduction to legal ethics from a biblical perspective and it seeks to prepare students to face tough ethical issues in the legal world.
Join us this Tuesday for our next study. We will be discussing “Christ's Wisdom.”

U.S. Magistrate Judge Joan Lefkow will visit Chicago-Kent on Friday, October 16 at 5:30
Please join us! Judge Lefkow will be coming to visit with students and to share her reflections on faith and the practice of law.
 

Attorney Richard Baker will lead Bible study on Tuesday, October 20 at 12:00
Attorney Richard Baker of the firm Mauck, Bellande, and Cheely, will be visiting Chicago-Kent to lead our Tuesday Bible study on October 20. He is a member of CLS and he will be leading a lesson on biblical standards for truth-telling in the legal profession.
