This year's National Conference will be held in Lisle, Illinois
on October 22-25. The topic of the conference is "Loving God With All Our
Minds: The Reasonable Defense of Jesus Christ Before a Skeptical World."
If you are interested in hearing well-renowned speakers and meeting judges,
attorneys, and law students from all over the country then you definitely
should come! But you need to act now because the registration
deadline is October 7.
Lisle Hilton Hotel in Lisle, Illinois
For CLS student member registration is $140.00 (the fee is significantly
greater for a non-member--see the becoming a member section below). Does
not include hotel or meals. If you stay at the Hilton factor in $79 per
night. But you can share a room with other students and split the cost.
Meal plan cost is $127 for adults and $50 for children (includes 3 breakfasts,
2 lunches, and 2 dinners).

Attorney Richard Baker will lead Bible study on Tuesday, October
20 at 12:00
Attorney Richard Baker of the firm Mauck, Bellande, and Cheely, will
be visiting Chicago-Kent to lead our Tuesday Bible study on October 20.
He is a member of CLS and he will be leading a lesson on biblical standards
for truth-telling in the legal profession.
