Bible Study

Tuesday, October 6 at 12:00 in Room 581
Join us this Tuesday for our next study. We will be discussing the role of a Christian attorney in an adversarial system. The key scripture passages for this lesson are Acts 25-26, 1 Corinthians 6, 2 Timothy 2, and Hebrews 4:14-5:10.

The title of the book we are using is "The Advocate: A Biblical Approach to Legal Ethics," written by Mary S. Lauchli, an associate professor of law at Pepperdine University School of Law. This study is an introduction to legal ethics from a biblical perspective and it seeks to prepare students to face tough ethical issues in the legal world.
