Easter movie night film: "Jesus"  (Tuesday, April 18th @ ~5:15pm)

The Christian Legal Society (CLS) invites the entire Chicago-Kent community (students, faculty, and staff) to celebrate the Easter holiday by joining us for a special showing of the film entitled, “JESUS.”

DATETuesday, April 18th

TIME:   5:15pm

Feel free to bring your dinner and join us for the movie.

Please invite your friends & family to share this Easter movie event.

Here is a little information about the film . . .

The “JESUS” film has been described as the most accurate depiction of the life of Christ ever produced. The film is based on the Gospel of Luke.  It was filmed in 1978 at over 200 locations in the Holy Land.  The cast included more than 5000 people and every word spoken by Christ is taken directly from scripture.

“ ’JESUS’ is a remarkable film, full of drama.  The attention to biblical accuracy catapults you back into the life and time of Jesus Christ.  You walk the same historical streets, you experience the same wonderful miracles, and you are touched by the power of God as you relive the most important events in the history of mankind.” Source: web sites <>  and <>

The film has an approximate run time of 120 minutes.

Collins is a CLS member attorney and the former CLS law student ministries coordinator.  Samuel B. Casey is the executive director of National CLS and former professor and dean of Simon Greenleaf University School of Law in Anaheim, CA, and a former partner with Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe in Sacramento, CA.
