FIRST ISSUE OF
THE SEMESTER COMING SOON!
Our first issue of the spring
semester is now in the production process - stories
are being edited, photos are being formatted, and
everything is being laid out. Look for the issue in
bins on the concourse, second floor, and library,
and on the table near the Spak, on Monday, February
19th.
NEXT
DEADLINE: Monday, March 5
Submissions for our second
spring issue are due Monday, March 5 at 5:00pm. Remember that we rely on YOU
- the students and faculty - to provide us with content.
IF YOU SUBMIT IT, IT WILL PRINT (99.9% guaranteed)!
Submission guidelines:
-
Around 500 words (800 word maximum, and shorter
is great!)
-
Include a story title, your name, your class
year and/or title
-
Include photos and photo captions (remember we
have a staff photographer to take pictures for you!)
What should
you write about, you ask? Anything you want! Tell us
about your break, about your outlook into the new year,
about goings-on in law or the real world...you can also
report on Kent events (contact editor-in-chief Natalie
N. Gottschalk for information).
FACULTY &
STAFF - SEND US YOUR COLLEGE PHOTOS!
Our special
faculty and staff feature this semester will be a
College Photo Match. Remember the Baby Photo Match
last year? It was a huge hit! This time, send us a photo
from your college days - long hair, beards, hippie
clothes and all! Will you be able to recognize your
colleagues?
QUOTABLE
QUOTES
Send us
memorable quotes from your professors!
JOIN THE
COMMENTATOR STAFF
We
need staff members (especially a new
editor-in-chief) for next year!
If you are interested in joining our staff as a managing editor,
layout editor, copy editor, advertising manager,
photographer, reporter, or columnist, please contact
Natalie N. Gottschalk at

all busy law students, and we make it easy to fit
the newspaper into your schedule!
