GET YOUR APRIL 2007 ISSUE! ON STANDS NOW!

Our April 2007 issue is on newsstands now! Look for it in bins on the concourse, second floor, and library, and on the table near the Spak. The deadline for submitting a completed crossword puzzle (and a chance to win a $25 Best Buy gift card) is Thursday, April 5th. Drop off your completed puzzle in our second-floor mailbox.

NEXT DEADLINE: Monday, April 9

Submissions for the LAST ISSUE OF THE YEAR are due Monday, April 9 at 5:00pm. Remember that we rely on YOU - the students and faculty - to provide us with content. IF YOU SUBMIT IT, IT WILL PRINT (99.9% guaranteed)!

Submission guidelines:

  • Around 500 words (800 word maximum, and shorter is great!)

  • Include a story title, your name, your class year and/or title

  • Include photos and photo captions (remember we have a staff photographer to take pictures for you!)

What should you write about, you ask? Anything you want! Tell us about your break, about your outlook into the new year, about goings-on in law or the real world...you can also report on Kent events (contact editor-in-chief Natalie N. Gottschalk for information).

ATTENTION GRADUATING SENIORS!

We always like to do some special things in our last issue for our graduating seniors.

Seniors' Last Words (aka Closing Arguments): Do you have any last words for your fellow Kenters? Send us your parting words and wishes, Class of 2007! Email them to comment@kentlaw.edu by Friday, April 13th.

Senior Superlatives: Who doesn't love that high-school tradition of senior superlatives? Send us your answers to these, or send us your own creations! Email your suggestions to comment@kentlaw.edu by Friday, April 13th.

MOST LIKELY TO:

  • Serve as a federal prosecutor?

    Be prosecuted federally?

  • Run for political office?

Be involved in a sex scandal while running for political office?

  • Make firm partner?

    Shoot a law firm partner?

  • Join a law school faculty?

    Lose their faculties?

  • Make the U.S. Supreme Court?
