the COMMENTATOR

Week of October 1, 2007

OCT. 1st - GET THE FIRST FULL ISSUE OF THE YEAR!

Our October 2007 edition is on newsstands Monday, October 1st! Look for it in bins on the concourse, the second floor, the library, and the table near the Spak.

Psst... You don't need your coupon for Salad Creations...

This semester, the Commentator has negotiated for coupons and discounts to be offered by many of our advertisers (i.e. Salad Creations, Adaptibar, and coming soon, PMBR). Even though it may say that you need to present your coupon in order to receive the discount, you just need to show your Chicago-Kent faculty, staff, or student I.D. and ask for the special discount. Take advantage of the discounts, so that the companies will continue to offer more coupons and discounts in the future.

Publicize Your Student Organization Events

Advertising for student organizations, so long as they are non-profit, (which most if not all are), is completely free. Articles are also a great way to publicize past events and functions, (think the New York Post Page Six). Utilize the Commentator to publicize for events, to review events, or to highlight organization news. Contact comment@kentlaw.edu for more details.
