The Environmental Law Society will
be holding a general membership meeting on Wednesday, February
16th at 3:00 in Room 345. The purpose of the meeting
will be to discuss upcoming ELS events, such as the Earth Day
Raffle and Party. The Earth Day event is our biggest
event of the semester, and we need your help to make it a success.
Please plan on attending to learn how you can help.
Other items on the agenda
include the upcoming ELS bake sale, the Earth Day clean-up,
and the ELS public interest summer fellowship.
Have you recently found yourself in a conversation like
Bobby: Hey Suzy! have you seen those stylish Environmental
Law T-shirts people are wearing around school?
Suzy: You bet I have. Those shirts are awesome.
Bobby: Where can I get me one?
If you have, then here is your answer: You can order
the Environmental Law T-shirts through the Environmental Law
Society. For those of you that haven't seen these
shirts, they are black with the words "Protecting the
Land Through the Law" over a picturesque mountain scene
on the front and "Environmental Law at Chicago-Kent"
on the back. You don't have to be in Environmental Law
to enjoy these shirts.
The shirts are available in both short ($15) and long
sleeves ($17). If interested, please contact Megan
We will be accepting orders through the next month.
