NYU Environmental Law Journal Essay Contest

The New York University School of Law Environmental Law Journal would like to inform you of our annual national student essay contest. The contest, which recognizes outstanding student scholarship on current topics in environmental and land use law, takes place each year and is open to all students enrolled in any U.S. law school and to individuals who have graduated from a U.S. law school within the last year. Each year the contest entries are judged by a panel including the Editor-in-Chief and Submissions Editor of the Environmental Law Journal, and New York University School of Law faculty member, and a reader selected from the greater community of environmental law practitioners. The winner of the contest will receive a $1,000 cash prize and the winning article will be published in the third volume of the Environmental Law Journal.

Attached to this email please find a pdf file with details of the contest. Feel free to print or to email this document for distribution to interested parties. The deadline for submission is January 6, 2006. Winners will be announced January 30, 2006.

If you have any questions regarding the student contest, please do not hesitate to contact either Katherine Renshaw at renshawk@nyu.edu or Gabriela Sakamoto at mgs248@nyu.edu.
