Brett Heinrich is the head pf MBT's Environmental Law and
Regulations Group. His national practice focuses on a variety of
environmental matters including enforcement litigation, compliance
counseling, remediation, Superfund, RCRA citizen suits, Clean Air Act,
Clean Water Act and environmental aspects of real estate transactions.
A graduate of DePaul's law school, Mr. Heinricj began his career as a
prosecutor for the Illinois Attorney General's Office and later joined
Waste Management, Inc. as Environmental Counsel. While there, he became
a nationally recognized Superfund practitioner and environmental
litigator representing various subsidiaries at more than 50 federal and
state superfund sites.

On Tuesday, February 28, 2012/3:00-4:30 p.m the
YLS Environmental Law Committee is presenting a panel discussion called
"Careers in Environmental Law" with a reception immediately following.
The discussion is available in-person or via CBA Webcast. In-person

program is designed to provide young attorneys and law students with a
forum to talk to successful environmental practitioners. The speakers
will provide insight into the diverse practices available in
environmental law and the paths each attorney took to get to their
current position. The speakers will also provide advice to young
attorneys looking to start a career in environmental law. The
moderators will have prepared questions for the speakers and will also
take questions from those in attendance. A cocktail reception will be
held after the panel discussion to allow for additional and more
informal interaction between the speakers and the attendees.
