2004-2005 CALENDAR OF EVENTS - Coming Soon. Check back here in the coming few weeks. The Federalist Society for Law and Public Policy Studies Statement of PrinciplesThe Federalist Society for Law and Public Policy Studies is a group of conservatives and libertarians interested in the state of the legal order. We believe that principles and legal rules strongly influence the direction of societal development and in so doing can secure or destroy individual rights and liberties. From a position of shared values, the Society's purpose is to investigate the role of law as one of the great organizing forces of our society, and to participate in that shaping process. Read more about our principles...The Chicago-Kent ChapterThe Federalist Society at Chicago-Kent is the only student organization on campus that can truly be characterized as conservative. The Society also promotes awareness of the major issues facing today's legal community by providing balance in debate, working with other student groups to represent both sides of any argument. Being an organization representing both conservatives and libertarians, we foster a broad diversity of opinion among our own membership.
