Come here our own alumni talk about the opening of a new
case, and the response in a medical malpractice case
Brian (plaintiff) will talk about how he decides on whether he will
take a case and what steps are taken to get it on file. Steve (defense) will discuss how we
respond to new lawsuits and the overall chronology of the case.

Chicago-Kent College of Law (J.D.).

Steve Steinback
Anderson, Bennett & Partners
Graduate of Northwestern University (B.S.) and Chicago-Kent College of
Law (J.D.). Following law school,
Steve served as in-house counsel for an international trade association
where he was responsible for the association’s regulatory work. In 1996, Steve received a clerkship
with the Hon. Patrick J. Quinn of the Illinois Appellate Court. In 1998, Steve joined Gessler, Hughes
& Socol, Ltd. as an associate in the medical negligence litigation
department. While at Gessler,
Hughes & Socol, Steve successfully represented both individual
physicians and institutions in medical malpractice actions. Steve joined Anderson, Bennett &
Partners in 2000 where he continues to focus his practice on medical
malpractice defense and health care compliance issues. Steve is also a certified OSHA
instructor.
