Exploring Opportunities in International Law Friday, February 23, 2001 Please fill out the Registration
Form below. Registration must be received by February 16. International Law Career Day provides students with an overview of various practice areas in international law. Through a combination of interactive panel discussions and a visit to local international law firms, students will walk away with a better understanding of what international law practice entails and how to prepare for a career in international law. After morning registration and introductory remarks, students will have the opportunity to choose from individual panel discussions that will focus on specific areas of international law. Experienced attorneys will provide insight into what the future of international law may bring. The panelists will discuss their own paths to a successful career, the field in general, and what they see the future holding in their specific field. After the morning panel sessions, Chicago-Kent International Law Society will host a luncheon for participants and speakers, featuring a distinguished keynote speaker. Rotation periods will follow lunch, giving students an opportunity to visit two sites from some of Chicago's most prestigious organizations in the international arena. Students will have the opportunity to speak with attorneys and ask questions about specific areas of interest. Distinguished speakers in the past have included attorney's from:
