INTERNATIONAL MOOT COURT
The International Law Moot Court Honor Society is looking for interested students, and there will be an informational meeting on WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 17th at 3pm in room 520.
COMMITTEE MEMBERSHIP & ELECTIONS
It's time once again to form committees for the year. The following committees offer opportunities for involvement:
Fall Speaker Event
All are welcome to join any committee. In addition, we will be holding elections to fill the chair positions of the Career Day, Social, Communications, and Fundraising committees. 1Ls are welcome to run for committee chair. If you would like to run for a chair position, please e-mail Jaclyn Smith at email@example.com with a paragraph explaining to ILSA members why you are a good candidate for the job. The deadline for submitting paragraphs is Wednesday, September 17. Elections will be held via e-mail. For more information about the committees and how to get involved, e-mail Jaclyn.
FOREIGN AFFAIRS DISCUSSION GROUP
Weekly or bi-weekly, the International Law Students Association hosts a foreign affairs discussion group for the Chicago-Kent community. For each session a brief reading will be selected (this semester, many selections will be chosen from periodicals such as the Economist and Foreign Affairs), and the reading will serve as the basis for the meeting's discussion. Check this spot later this week for more information on the first session.
