Karina Wong
- President
Karina Wong is a third year law student at Chicago-Kent. Karina graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she majored in mechanical engineering. Prior to law school, she worked as an engineer at a commercial refrigeration manufacturing facility, where she also managed the cooperative engineering program. Karina joined the IPLS alumni committee in her first year of law school and served as Secretary of IPLS last year. She has experience as a legal assistant, legal intern, and patent search analyst. She also worked as a summer associate for Brinks, Hofer, Gilson & Lione this past summer. |

Adam Blanchard -
Vice-President (Day Division)
Adam Blanchard is an aerospace engineer, having earned his B.S. from the University of Texas at Austin. Adam is also a registered patent agent and intends to focus his practice on patent prosecution upon graduation. In addition to serving on the IPLS board Adam is Editor-in-Chief of the Chicago-Kent Journal of Intellectual Property. |

Will Clark -
Secretary
Will is a third-year law student at Chicago-Kent. Will graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a B.S. in Computer Science from the College of Engineering. Before enrolling at Chicago-Kent, Will worked for eight years as a software developer and consultant. As Secretary, Will's goal is to support the IPLS in successfully planning and organizing quality programs. |

Pat Bickley -
Treasurer
Pat graduated from the University of Toledo with a bachelor of science in chemical engineering. Upon graduation, Pat worked for Cooper Tire & Rubber Company in Ohio for seven years in the fields of process development, test development, and materials development, and obtained his M.B.A. from the University of Findlay in the evenings. Pat came to Kent to pursue his interest in patent law. |

Jason Dirkx -
Webmaster
Jason Dirkx is a former Software Engineer who graduated from Michigan State University. Before coming to law school, Jason was a developer on nuclear targeting and joint-force preparedness software for several defense contractors in San Diego. Last summer, Jason worked for Citizen Works developing a group focused on consumer rights for standard form contracts and participated in the first John Marshall IP study abroad program in China. Jason's duties on IPLS involve mastering everything web. |

Amanda Hart -
Social Chair
Amanda Hart is a second year law student at Chicago-Kent. She graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she majored in Molecular and Cellular Biology. Amanda is currently clerking at a consumer-rights litigation firm and would like to transition into IP litigation. Her goal this year as Social Chair is to plan and organize events that will enrich the IP community at Kent. |

Michael Brandt -
Alumni Relations Chair
Michael Brandt is a second year student at Chicago-Kent. In 2006, he graduated with honors from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he studied General Engineering and minored in Spanish. Before attending law school, Michael worked as a patent examiner at the United States Patent & Trademark Office. While there, he examined patent applications in various electrical arts, focusing primarily on electromechanical subject matter. During his first year of law school, Michael was a member of IPLS, and this year, as Alumni Relations Chair, he will be responsible for coordinating the Resume Review Workshop in the fall and the IP Alumni Reception in the spring. Michael will continue to work as a summer associate with Leydig, Voit & Mayer, Ltd. in Chicago after this academic year. |
