Chicago-Kent hosts the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit

November 9, 2-4pm, Chicago-Kent Courtroom

This is a rare opportunity to see the Federal Circuit in action outside of Washington, D.C.  As upperclassmen well know, the buck stops at the Federal Circuit in regards to patent law (subject, of course, to Supreme Court review).  Many of our IP faculty have also clerked for various judges on this court.  All interested IP students are HIGHLY encouraged to attend!

A Day in the Life of an IP Practitioner

Thursday, November 17, 2005, 4-6 PM.

Room C20: See a presentation by a real-life IP Lawyer.  Think of this as a "sneak preview" of what it would really be like to be an attorney specializing in patents, trademarks and copyrights.  Free snacks included!
