February 6: Intellectual Property - Alumni/Student Panel Discussion (Noon - 1:15 PM) – Room 305

The Alumni Board of Directors and SBA are sponsoring their “Take a Break” series. Chicago-Kent Alumni practicing IP will discuss their experiences. Lunch is served and no RSVP is required.


February 7: IP Day in Chicago (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Loyola University Chicago School of Law)

25 East Pearson Street, Rubloff Auditorium

This year's IP Day in Chicago will focus on the recent trend in the Supreme Court to review intellectual property cases. The speakers will offer their perspective on this trend as it relates to the core areas of IP. This program provides an excellent opportunity for those interested in intellectual property to explore cutting-edge issues in IP law. February 13: Copyright Roundtable Event - Copyright in the Digital Age (Noon - 1:00 PM) - Room 580

Panelists include: Copyright lawyer Kevin Parks, founder of and a Professor of music licensing; Entertainment lawyer, Donald Simon, owner of Entertainment Law Chicago, P.C.; and Randall F. Weissman, Deputy Managing Editor of the Chicago Tribune.
