5:00pm - 8:00pm
Chicago-Kent Auditorium and Lobby
Come meet area attorneys, taste great artisanal wines and cheeses, and learn about Geographic Indications of Origin, trademark law and unfair competition.
This is a two-part event. The CLE, hosted by the C-K Alumni Association, features Chris Buccafusco and Sarah Harding. They will cover Geographical Indications of Origin as they pertain to artisanal wines and cheeses and the protections available.
IPLS is hosting the reception following the CLE. The reception will feature a wine tasting that pairs wines with significant Geographical Indications of Origin with their non-GI counterparts. It also includes artisanal cheeses matched to the wine pairs.
5:00 pm: Welcome and registration
5:30 pm: CLE lecture (hosted by the C-K Alumni Association)
6:30 pm: Wine and cheese tasting reception and networking event (hosted by IPLS)
