Journal of Intellectual Property is chugging along
full speed ahead. Volume 5 Issue 1 is now up and
running on the journal website (http://jip.kentlaw.edu).
Three new works have already been published, by Maxim
Grinberg, Steve Heath, and Sally Parker. This summer
and fall we received over 45 submissions. We are
presently editing 2 new articles by distinguished
practitioners in the field, and 2 new student notes.
news we would also like to welcome 3 new associate
editors who joined the Journal over the summer; Chrissy
Gentili, Meira Greenberg, & Gabriella Reyes-Noyola, and
welcome all the new prospective editors who will be
training to join the Journal this semester.
events, dates, and information for new and current
were unable to come to the organizational meetings but
still wish to participate this semester, please attend
the meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 20 at noon in C86. (Go to
the concourse water fountains and turn right.)
current editors who wish to remain on staff must attend
the upcoming training session on Oct. 14. All
prospective editors must attend as well. Training will
consist of 30 minutes of Westlaw/Lexis training, and 30
minutes of Journal training.
prospective editors who wish to expedite their training
may request the “test article” immediately by emailing
the journal (firstname.lastname@example.org).
It must be completed by Oct. 14.
student is welcome to submit a student note for
publication. See the Journal website for specific
details and formatting requirements.
