Donate-A-Phone Project

Join PIRC  in the fight against Domestic Violence!

Do you have cell phones that you no longer use? The Donate-a-Phone campaign is an extension of the Wireless Foundation’s CALL to PROTECT program. This program takes used cell phones and rehabs them and programs them with emergency number in order to provide phones to victims of domestic violence. By donating your used cell phone, you are not only helping the environment by keeping these cell phones out of landfills, you are also helping victims of domestic violence.

All used cell phones, except car installed “bag phones” are accepted. Cell phones that are broken are also accepted. If possible please include charger and other accessories that came with the phone. If you would like to donate your used cell phone, please mail or drop the phone by the PIRC office in room 654.  For questions, email PIRC (pirc@kentlaw.edu) or visit our website (http://www.kentlaw.edu/publicinterest/pirc/).
