Annual KJF Spring Auction
are underway for the 13th Annual KJF Spring
Auction. The Auction is scheduled for Wednesday, April 14th.
The Auction is KJFs largest fundraiser and one of the
largest events at Kent. For a small ticket price,
attendees are treated to free food and drink and the
opportunity to bid on numerous auction packages. Auction
packages include donations from area businesses, as well as
Chicago-Kent faculty, administration, and staff. Packages
include spa treatments, theatre and dinner packages, museum
memberships, tickets to concerts and sporting events, dinner
or drinks with your favorite professor, and much more.
Annually, the Spring Auction raises $12,000-$18,000, all of
which help funds summer fellowships for those working in
public interest jobs during the summer.

Annual Norman Amaker Public Interest Retreat
the weekend of March 26-28th, the Equal
Justice Works student chapter at the University of
Indiana-Indianapolis, along with SALT and Equal Justice Works
will be sponsoring the 3rd Annual Norman Amaker
Public Interest Retreat. The event will be held at
Indiana University's Bradford Woods Outdoor Center near
Indianapolis. The Retreat will bring law students,
law professors and practitioners together for an informative,
challenging, and even relaxing weekend in the country where
they can share their knowledge and interests on various
topics. The Retreat will focus both on the challenges and
rewards of practice and the realities of working in the public

KJF and the Public Interest Resource Center (PIRC) in the
fight against Domestic Violence!
you have cell phones that you no longer use that you want to
get rid of? As
part of the Donate-a-Phone program, KJF and PIRC are
collecting used cell phones.
The Donate-a-Phone campaign is an extension of the
Wireless Foundations CALL
to PROTECT program,
which helps provide wireless phones to victims of domestic
violence. For more
