Organization of the Year
For
the third year in a row, the Kent
Justice Foundation has been named Student Organization of the
Year. Thank you to all students who voted for
KJF and most importantly thank you to all members, officers, as
well as Chicago-Kent faculty, staff, and administration who made
this such a successful year for KJF.
Bake
Sale & Study Aid Sale
KJF
will be holding a bake sale and study aid sale on Wednesday,
April 28th from 9am-6pm. All
proceeds from this bake sale will be used to benefit Children's
Memorial Hospital. The proceeds will be used to
purchase a gaming system and games for the Children's use at the
hospital. To volunteer to bring baked goods or to sit at
the table, or to make donations to the Children's Memorial
Hospital please email Aaron Garland (agarland@kentlaw.edu).

SPring Auction is a major success
Thank
you for making the 13th Annual KJF Spring Auction
such a major success. A special thanks to all
students, alumni, faculty, staff, and administration who
attended and helped raise over $18,000. All proceeds
will be used to award KJF Summer Fellowships to students
working this summer in public interest jobs.

Donate-a-Phone
Join
KJF and the Public Interest Resource Center (PIRC) in the
fight against Domestic Violence!
Do
you have cell phones that you no longer use that you want to
get rid of? As
part of the Donate-a-Phone program, KJF and PIRC are
collecting used cell phones.
The Donate-a-Phone campaign is an extension of the
Wireless Foundation’s CALL
to PROTECT program,
which helps provide wireless phones to victims of domestic
violence. For more
