ABOUT US

Kent Justice Foundation is the public interest student organization at Chicago-Kent College of Law. Our mission is to enable Kent students to pursue unpaid summer internships in the public interest sector. Through our Summer Fellowship Program, we provide stipends of up to $6,000 to qualified candidates. Fellowship recipients have spent their summers partnering with fantastic organizations and agencies like Cabrini Green Legal Aid, Equip for Equality, Illinois Human Rights Commission, Office of the Cook County Public Defender, and the Environmental Protection Agency.

To raise money for our fellowships, we host several fundraisers throughout the year. There are many ways to help support our fundraising efforts, including by donating financially or in-kind. Check out our Donation page for more info!

Besides the Fellowship Program, KJF works to promote public interest law at Chicago-Kent through community service opportunities and campus speakers. Even if your future plans do not involve public interest law, KJF is a great way to get involved and give back to the community during your time at Chicago-Kent!
