Law Review Summer Candidacy Information Meetings
The Chicago-Kent Law Review will host two information
sessions for interested students:
- Friday, April 28, 2:30 p.m., Room 270
- Tuesday, May 2, 6:00 p.m., Room 270
The Chicago-Kent Law Review, like other law reviews and
journals around the country, publishes articles written by
professors, practitioners, and students who seek to add their
voice to current scholarship. Because we publish in a symposium
format, our law review attracts the work of prominent academics.
The quality of the law review's content exposes our staff
members to the kind of editing work that employers so highly
value. We encourage all eligible students who are interested in
writing, editing, and publishing to pursue grading or writing on
to the law review.
In addition to law review eligibility through the summer
candidacy program, we will also discuss:
- logistical details of the summer candidacy program,
- law review eligibility by way of academic achievement,
- expectations for law review members.
Please come with any questions you might have. For more
information on the law review and law review eligibility, see
the Student Handbook (§ 1.12) and the Chicago-Kent Law
