Core Committee Members
The following members of the Core Committee have worked tirelessly over the past year to envision, plan and carry out this conference in celebration of the 125th anniversary of women's admission to the Illinois Bar.  They thank all of the countless WIL members and members of the Chicago-Kent and Illinois legal communities that have assisted them to create this conference.  Thank you.

Student Members

Audrey Anderson* - Audrey is a 3L day division student.  She has been a member of WIL for three years, serving as Treasurer in the 1996-97 school year.  She graduated from Washington University in 1994 with a B.A. in Economics and Political Science.  She currently is a representative on the student board of the Women's Bar Association of Illinois.  Audrey plans to move to Nashville to practice environmental law after graduation.
Mata Binteris* - Mata is a 3L day division student.  She has been a member of WIL for three years, serving as Public Relations Coordinator in 1996-97 and currently as Vice President for the 1997-98 school year.
Helen Bloch - Helen  is a 3L day division student.  She graduated in 1995 from Stern College For Women of Yeshiva University with a B.A. in political science and an A.A. in Judaic studies.  In her first year, she joined WIL and the Women's Bar Association of Illinois (WBAI).   Helen Bloch was instrumental in creating the WBAI Student Board in 1996, and has since served as one of its Chicago-Kent representatives.
Rachel Donegan - Rachel is a 3L day division student.  She has been a member of WIL for three years, serving as Interim Secretary in 1995-96, Vice-President in 1996-97 and currently as President for the 1997-98 school year.  Rachel received a B.S. in Sociology with a minor in Justice and Policy Studies from Guilford College in Greensboro, NC.  She volunteered as case manager in a domestic violence shelter and as a rape counselor at a crisis center for two years before coming to law school.  Rachel would like to work as criminal prosecutor in sex crimes or domestic violence unit.
Abigail Kell - Abbie is a 2L day division student. She has been a member of WIL for two years, and is currently serving at Treasurer for the 1997-98 school year.  Abbie is primarily interested in labor and employment law.
Elizabeth Parks - Elizabeth is a 3L day division student. She has been a member of WIL for the past three years, serving as Secretary in 1996-97 and currently as Vice President for the 1997-98 school year.  Elizabeth is primarily studying criminal law.
Charis Runnels* -  Charis is a 3L evening division student.  She has been member of WIL for the past three years, serving as Public Relations Coordinator in 1995-96 and as Vice President in 1996-97.  Charis received a 1997 scholarship from the Women's Bar Association of Illinois Foundation, of which she is a student member.  She also serves as the Chair of the Law Student Committee of the Young Lawyer's Section of the Chicago Bar Association.  Charis earned her B.A., magna cum laude, in Theatre Arts in 1993 from Marquette University.   Charis works full-time as the Assistant Director of Career Services at Chicago-Kent College of Law and is pursuing a career in labor and employment law.
