Megan
Oliver - Megan
Oliver graduated from The George Washington University in 1996 with a B.A.
in English. She is a 3L day division student and has been an active
WIL member since she started at Chicago-Kent. She also is an editorial
board member of Kent's Journal of Intellectual Property. Last summer,
Megan worked as a summer associate at the Chicago firm of Much, Shelist,
Freed, Denenberg, Ament & Rubenstein; she plans to continue clerking
with the firm part-time during the school year.

Melanie
Maron - Melanie
Maron graduated from the University of Louisville in Kentucky with a B.A.
in Fine Arts. She is currently a 3L day division student
and has been a member of WIL for 2 years. She is the current President
of the Kent Justice Foundation, the 3L student representative for Serving
Our Society, and a member the Journal of Intellectual Property. This
past summer, she externed for Judge Blanche Manning in the Northern District
of Illinois. She is currently working as a PILI intern at the Chicago
Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law. Melanie hopes to pursue
a career in employment law or public interest law.

Del Carlo -
SECRETARY
Gina
Habermas - Gina Habermas is a 3L
day student and plans to practice in construction law in Chicago.
She has been a member of Women in Law since her first year at Chicago-Kent.
She is also in the International and Comparative Law Certificate Program
and is a founding member of the Construction Law Society. Gina graduated
from New College of USF (a very small liberal arts college in Florida)
in 1988. She received a B.A. in European History and then took graduate
classes at the University of Florida. Deciding that she didn’t want
to be a historian after all, she left school and went to work for a global
engineering and construction company in 1990. She worked in the records
management department in offices in Florida and Maryland until 1998 when
she moved to Chicago for law school.

Chantal
Host - Chantal Host
is a 3L day division student. This is her second year as a member
of WIL. Her areas of interest are criminal law as well as general
litigation. Currently she is a clinic student for First Defense Legal
Aid. She also works in her hometown of Joliet at the Law Office of
Thomas P. Naughton.

Neerja
Saxena - Neerja Saxena graduated
from University of California, San Diego in 1998 with a B.A. in History.
She is currently a 2L day division student and has been a member of WIL
since her first year. She is also the Managing Editor of The Commentator.
This past summer, Neerja interned in the District Attorney’s office in
downtown L.A., in the Major Crimes Department. She hopes pursue a
career in Intellectual Property upon graduating from Kent in the spring
of 2002.

OPPORTUNITIES COORDINATOR
Blair
Dawson - Blair is a 2L day division
student and has just recently joined the Executive Board of WIL.
She graduated from Marquette University of Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1999
with a B.A. in Broadcast and Electronic Communication and minors in Political
Science and Psychology. She worked for the in-house litigation division
for Kemper Insurance over the summer and plans on returning next summer.
