Winner of the SBA's Award for "Outstanding Student Organization of the Year" in 1998


SHORTS!!!SHORTS!!SHORTS!!
Look for us in the Spak! WIL is selling shorts with a Chicago-Kent logo all semester.The shorts are grey cotton athletic shorts that are perfect for working out,lounging around or STUDYING FOR FINALS!! The shorts are $12 for one or $20 for two.If you can help us out and sit and sell the shorts in the Spak ANY time at all,that would be wonderful! If you'd like to help, please email WIL and let us know when you can sit.

IMPORTANT REMINDER
Please pay your dues!  You may either put a check in an envelope 
into the WIL mailbox on the second floor, or you may give cash to 
Megan Oliver, WIL's Treasurer.  Thanks.

Spring Semester Outlines
The deadline for Outline requests has now passed. Jessica will begin filling requests by March 1st. Only those that have paid their dues will receive outlines. 

BAKESALES!
We will be having bakesales on March 21st and April 12th from 10am - 5:45pm in the Spak. We need as many people as possible to bake and sit! 
If you can do either or both, please email WIL. Thanks to all those who baked and sat for our last bakesale which was a huge success! 

GLASS SLIPPER PROJECT

The Glass Slipper Project collects donations of new and "gently worn" formal dresses and accessories and donates thems to financially disadvantaged high school students in the Chicago area so they can attend their high school proms in style. WIL will be collecting dresses, shoes, purses and other accessories March 27th-March 29th. This is a great way to help someone out and clean out your closet at the same time!! WOMEN IN LAW 2000: Leading the Way

Join us on Saturday, March 18 for Women in Law 2000: Leading the Way. Students and practitioners from throughout Illinois will be there to explore the opportunities and obstacles faced by women in the legal profession including employment issues, women in politiecs, networking strategies, and women on the bench. WIL's 1998 conference was a huge success, and we hope to see you all there!
